UNS C17200 beryllium copper alloys are ductile and produced in mill hardened and heat treatable tempers. These alloys are used for all applications, which require high strength, stiffness and good conductivity. The tensile strength of C17200 copper is over 1380 MPa (200 ksi).

C17300 copper alloys can be welded using soldering, brazing, gas shielded arc welding, coated metal arc welding, spot welding, seam welding and butt welding. Oxyacetylene welding is not recommended for this type of alloys.
C17300 copper alloys are forged at temperatures ranging from 649 to 816°C (1200 to 1500°F).
